When I first bought this game, the supplier told me that Torres is a very popular game. So, my expectation is naturally slightly on the higher side. Today, I finally get the chance to sit down and open up the sealed box to learn and play! For a first timer playing this game and learning it on his own, it is definitely challenging. However, being a strategy-game lover, I did not take too long a time to understand the instruction manual and enjoy the game thoroughly with my girlfriend and her brother. With the restriction of just using 5 action points (AP) for each turn, you often find yourself cracking your head to build the biggest and tallest castles! Yet, at times, taller and bigger may not seems to be good. Confused?!! Haha! Not at all. You just need to plan ahead and strategise carefully.
Be observant! Be smart! Think out of the box! A MUST-TRY game for all strategy-game lovers!
