Apples to Apples (Party Version)

Facts:
Recommended Number of Players: 5 to 10
Age Group: 12 years old and above
Playing Time: About 30 minutes
Game Category: Party
Game Grouping in RAG: Group A
RAG's comments:
An all-time favourite party game which involves a lot of interaction among all players involved. I was having a great deal of time 'argueing' my way through, leading to lots of laughters and funny expressions on everyone's face! Haha! Hard on the judges at many times as you are often caught in between your friends! For people out there who think that their command of English is not good, you will really appreciate the helping words that come along with each card. I am one of them! Good game to break the ice!
RAG's Rating:
7/10

  1. This is a really creative game. Love the idea of having to "talk-crap" your way to winning! One glitch though... The judge would sometimes already chosen the card which he/she wants before the others defend their cards, which really defeats the purpose of the game. Ppl becoming the judge must pretend to be as child-like as possible I think. This game is fun to play if the group of friends you're playing with are witty and chatty. The game is bland if everyone only says, "Like that lor...", "Obvious wat?", "Self-explanatory".

  2. Hi Eve, I totally agree with everything you have mentioned in your comments. That is why I prempted you about the presence of crappy friends in order to thoroughly enjoy this game. In future, you might also want to consider reminding whoever is the judge to be unbiased. That will make the game more fun too! =)
